TaiBON Biodiversity Indicator Indices
You can download raw data or metadata of "biodiversity indicators" and "monitoring" from data repository of TaiBON biodiversity indicators. If you want to check out the details of each biodiversity indicator, you can either select "indicator names" in the following table or filter by "Themes", "Aichi Biodiversity Targets", "SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)" or "PSBR".
Until now, almost all of the local biodiversity indicators in Taiwan already correspond to the above four categories. However, the major subjects of SDGs comprise "economic growth", "social advancement" and "environmental protection", and the development of TaiBON website is targeting on "environmental protection". Therefore, if the SDGs are not related to targets of TaiBON, the drop-down menu will show "✘" symbol.
Development status of biodiversity indicators:
Ⅰ. Provision of data is stable and data quality is good
Ⅱ. Data is available but it needs to be improved
Ⅱ-1. Data source cannot provide data periodically
Ⅱ-2. Data quality needs to be improved
Ⅲ. It needs to develop methodology of data harvest and mechanism of data collection
