生物多樣性指標聯盟 (BIP) 目前為國際間生物多樣性指標的溝通窗口，為支持 生物多樣性公約 (CBD) 及 愛知目標 (Aichi targets) 所成立，提供全球客觀且嚴謹的生物多樣性指標發展資訊。

透過壓力 (Pressure, P)、狀態 (State, S)、裨益 (Benefit, B)、回應 (Response, R) 等四種類型指標來建立全球性的生物多樣性指標，藉由 PSBR 指標配適，可了解我國指標類型的現況。
