Background
We need to invest in research, monitoring, education, and promoting manpower, material resources, and funds to obtain sufficient scientific data. Those data will help prove the effectiveness of marine protected areas, so that industry, government, academics, fishermen, and the general public can understand the importance of marine protected areas, further are willing to support the designation of marine protected areas and the implementation of the management, especially the operation and management of the community, to enhance people’s concept of compliance with the law.

The relevant ministries and committees have provided related annual funds in their annual budgets, for research, monitoring, education, promoting, the manpower needed to implement the management of marine protected areas, and expenses for people to participate in seminars.
